We promote open source software and open standards so people can share information and communicate freely, because the benefits belong to everyone.
In it for the long run
We have helped organisations get the most from technology and to improve their skills since 1994.
Comm-Tech has grown because we value long term customer relationships – for many of our clients, Comm-Tech is the employee who has been there the longest.
Transparency and accountability
Our customers trust Comm-Tech to ensure their IT just works. We will always use plain language and keep customers informed about the work we do for them.
Charity IT support
Comm-Tech has helped organisations get the most from their technology since 1994. Our support systems are designed to fulfil the needs of charities and non-profit organisations, focusing on key issues such as data protection, staff turnover, remove and part-time working – all within tight budgets.
Whether you need to design an IT project proposal, manage a migration, draw up a 5-year IT de, velopment plan, source new hardware, develop a high-security appor are looking for advice on any technical matter – you can lean on our experience.
System health checks
A misbehaving computer or network that slows your staff will cost many hours and many thousands of pounds a year in lost productivity – for a fraction of the cost, our system health check will prevent this and keep your technology running full throttle.
Migrations and relocations
Comm-Tech has many years’ experience planning, delivering and supporting users through the process of migrating email or data services to and from cloud services such as Microsoft Sharepoint/Office 365, Google Apps, or open source solutions. If you need to relocate in the physical world, our engineers will help you before, during, and after the move.
Using datacentres in the UK and Europe, Comm-Tech can provide dedicated hosting for Microsoft Exchange or open source Kopano email and groupware solutions. We can set up web server hosting, and deliver secure services including VPN, OwnCloud file hosting, or entirely bespoke high-security arrangements for sensitive data as required.
PC recycling, data destruction
We collect! For organisations in London we can pick up within days, and will issue official paperwork to satisfy WEEE directive requirements. Data theft and the potential for misuse of data is a real risk – our engineers will ensure that data is irretrievably destroyed, certifying to CESG or US Department of Defense standards if required.
